Ioulietta joined EIN in her quality as EIN Director in August 2023. Ioulietta is an attorney-at-law and a member of the Athens Bar Association. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public International Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, having specialised in the protection of human rights. Ioulietta has extensive working experience in the human rights field, having previously worked at: the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI); the Council of Europe Department for the Execution of Judgments of the European Court of Human Rights; the Registry of the European Court of Human Rights; the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Representation to the European Institutions in Strasbourg; and the Amnesty International European Institutions Office as the Executive Officer for the Council of Europe (ad interim). She also has significant experience as a freelance consultant, having advised grassroots and international non-governmental organisations on international human rights standards.

Cyril joined EIN in May 2025. He previously worked as European Project Manager in various business sectors, including building industry and agriculture, where he handled the administrative and financial management of EU-wide projects aiming at reducing pollution and encouraging better nutrition. He holds a Master’s Degree in Foreign Languages and Intercultural mediation.

Ioana joined EIN in August 2020. She previously worked at the Registry of the European Court of Human Rights, at the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the Bucharest-based NGO Center for Legal Resources, under the disability rights advocacy program “Advocate for Dignity”. She holds a master’s degree in Human Rights Law from the University of Strasbourg, and one in Public International Law from the University of Bucharest.

Vincent first joined the EIN Secretariat as an intern in March 2022, and as Communication Consultant in July 2023, before joining as Project and Communications Officer in March 2024. He previously worked as a trainee at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe, where he supported the work of the Office on matters related to environmental justice, migration, human rights defenders, LGBTI+ rights and homelessness. Vincent has also worked at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change as well as co-founded and co-chairs the youth human rights think tank Generation for Rights Over the World. He holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Multilevel Governance from the University of Padua.

Furkat joined EIN in June 2025 as Law and Advocacy Officer ad interim. He has previously worked in the human rights field in various capacities, including as an adviser to the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, a legal director with the Stitching Russian Justice Initiative, as a senior lawyer of Memorial Human Rights Center (the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize co-laureate) and as a lecturer on Human Rights course at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. Furkat holds a Master’s degree in International Public Law from the faculty of law of the Strasbourg University (former University of Robert Schuman).
