The EIN Board may be comprised of five to eleven members. Currently, nine members sit on the Board:

  2. Vivien Brassoi, Legal Director, European Roma Rights Centre (ERRC), Hungary

  3. Christian De Vos, Director of Research and Investigations, Physicians for Human Rights and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Political Science, Columbia University, United States of America

  4. Panayote Dimitras, Founder and Spokesperson of the Greek Helsinki Monitor (GHM), Greece

  5. Ecaterina-Georgiana Georghe, Executive Director, Association for the Defence of Human Rights in Romania (APADOR-CH), Romania

  6. Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights (HFHR), represented by Maciej Nowicki, Poland

  7. Dr Krassimir Kanev, Director of the Bulgarian Helsinki Committee (BHC), Bulgaria

  8. Dr Ramute Remezaite, Independent lawyer and researcher – working as a legal consultant at the European Human Rights Advocacy Centre (EHRAC), Lithuania

  9. Anne-Katrin Speck, doctoral researcher, Human Rights Centre, Ghent University, Belgium

Each board member is elected for a term of four years. The latest elections took place in June 2023.
