The EIN Board may be comprised of five to eleven members. Currently, nine members sit on the Board:

  1. Bulgarian Helsinki Committee (BHC), represented by Dr. Krassimir Kanev, Director of Monitoring and Research (Bulgaria);

  2. Dr. Anne Heinisch, Senior Visiting Researcher of the Rule of Law Clinic at the Central European University’s Democracy Institute, and Teaching Assistant, Faculty of Law and Criminology, Ghent University (Belgium);

  3. Human Rights House Zagreb (HRHZ), represented by Ivan Novosel, Director of Programs (Croatia);

  4. Greek Helsinki Monitor (GHM), represented by Panayote Dimitras, Founder and Spokesperson (Greece);

  5. Hungarian Helsinki Committee (HHC), represented by Renata Uitz (Hungary);

  6. Dr. Ramute Remezaite, Senior Legal Consultant and Implementation Lead, European Human Rights Advocacy Centre (EHRAC) (Lithuania);

  7. Promo-LEX Association, represented by Vadim Vieru, Program Director (Moldova);

  8. Committee on the Administration of Justice (CAJ), represented by Daniel Holder, Director (Northern Ireland);

  9. Association for the Defence of Human Rights in Romania (APADOR-CH), represented by Ecaterina-Georgiana Georghe, Executive Director (Romania);

  10. Christian De Vos, Visiting Assistant Professor of Law, CUNY School of Law, New York (United States of America);

  11. Kerem Altiparmak, Individual Member (Türkiye).

Each board member is elected for a term of four years. The latest elections took place in January 2026.
